Hi, I'm Chinmay.

A product and mobility designer who builds what he draws, bridging industrial form with mechanical function.

• Build it to know it. A drawing is a promise. I don't trust a design until I've cut, welded or printed it and watched it work.
• Waste is a design flaw. I'd rather give a scooter tyre or a bicycle frame a second life than buy new. Frugal, repairable things last longer.
• Start with whoever is struggling. A sanitation worker pushing a loaded tricycle, a student far from the library: the best briefs begin with them.
• Lead from the shop floor. As university vice president and an expo lead, I'd rather hold the spanner than the clipboard.

Off the bench: long motorcycle rides, mountain trails, robotics, editing video, and four very large dogs who supervise every build.
